WHAT'S THE PROCESS?
1. Say G’day
Book in a 15-minute discovery call or send an email. We can meet via telephone or Zoom and outline your project.
I’ll then send through a proposal and quote, with a couple of options in line with your needs and budget.
2. Check-in
Once the proposal is approved and commencement fee is paid, I’ll send through a briefing questionnaire. This will allow you to let me know a bit more about you, your business and your project.
3. Boarding
This is the part where I read your questionnaire. We’ll then meet again via phone or Zoom to fill in any gaps and so I can get a sense of the tone of voice.
Then I’ll start on your skeleton draft to ensure we’re both heading towards the same destination before I start writing the first draft.
During this stage you might also find me stalking your socials, checking out your competitors and industry to *really* immerse myself.
4. Up, up and away
The copywriting process is more like an overseas holiday than a weekend interstate. There are a few scheduled check-ins along the way.
This is the part of the journey where I complete your first draft. Once I’m finished (generally within a week), I’ll pass the first draft to you for feedback.
You’ll review the first draft (and hopefully love it!). If you don’t, or you want to make some little tweaks, don’t worry. I’ll take on your feedback and provide you with a second draft.
And, just like the complimentary mini bar aboard your flight, we’ll shout you two rounds of reviews and edits in the price.
Once you hit, approve we’re ”cleared for take-off,” and the copy is all yours.
If I’m crafting a social media plan and content for you, we may skip a few of the drafting steps and stay in touch on a more regular and ongoing basis.
5. Feedback & Review
Once your project is complete, we reach everyone’s favourite part – the review! Just like Trip Advisor, I’ll send a short survey so you can provide feedback that will help me improve my processes.
